This office prioritizes profit over patient care. Instead of focusing on long-term dental health and explaining reasonable treatment options, the emphasis constantly seemed to be on expensive procedures and additional charges. I never felt like my concerns were truly listened to, and the overall experience felt more like a sales pitch than healthcare.

I’ve been going to Kennestone Periodontics for several years and have always had a great experience. I’ve had two surgeries here, and both were handled with great care and professionalism. Dr. Silverstein is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the front desk is always helpful. Highly recommend!

I’d like to start this review off with a positive statement for the medical staff - Dr. Silverstein and everyone involved on the medical side has been an absolute pleasure to be around and carry out the initial phase of an implant. This review however is for the front office, and more specifically the office manager, Carey. On the day I paid for my surgery, the total given to me was roughly $60 higher than the sheet I was given for my cost breakdown that I had to sign. So I asked why the cost was higher, and while discussing with the front desk, the office manager Carey leans over and aggressively chimes in that my insurance did not cover the initial office exam. I exceeded my two a year allowance. So I paid the extra amount. We had a very in depth conversation on all of this, so it amazes me what’s happened afterwards. Fast forward a month and a half later I get a text that I have an outstanding balance of $63. I call and am told it’s for denial of bone graft. After calling my insurance they said it’s policy a bone graft is not covered on the same day as an extraction without medical necessity documentation and the provider should have been aware of this. Very friendly staff and the best prices in town! They work with my insurance, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. I was in and out of surgery quickly, and the pain was minimal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality care!

Was referred here for a quick consultation by my dentist. I told the receptionist I was only interested if there was no charge, to which she confirmed there wouldn't be a bill. I was in and out in 5 minutes and they continue to send me $120 invoices now. I've called many times and always been told the Office Manager would call me back, which they've never bothered to do.

I would avoid it at all costs to go to Kennestone Periodontics. They are after your money with a business-oriented doctor. I had surgery here in October 2022, A few minutes of surgery cost around 3K. It was more expensive than other places, but I went for it because I thought this doctor was good! However, they did not know how to deal with insurance or they didn’t care to do this. My insurance refused to pay even 600 for this just because this practice didn’t provide any important details, They wrote one sentence for this claim! Of course, it got rejected. I did the research and with help from my general dentist’s office got them to resend the evidence and got approved after a long time. The other thing is Dr. Silverstein didn’t discuss or plan this surgery with my general dentist about how long the tissue or bone should be cut to prepare for crowns. So the result is not what I expected. The 2 front gum level is uneven let alone the other! I have seen Dr Silverstein a few times. It is always in a rush. After a short chat then he would leave you to another assistant. This practice has 2 offices with just one doctor and many front desk and assistants. The most horrific thing was aft

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this periodontics office. They never informed me that my two procedures could not be done on the same day for insurance purposes. As a result, my insurance won't cover the costs, leaving me with a hefty bill. This lack of communication and transparency is completely unacceptable. I expected a professional office to handle such important details, but their negligence has caused me significant financial stress. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

My experience at Kennestone Periodontics was amazing. Everything in this newly renovated office is state of the art.Dr Silverstein has the most updated equipment and a kind and caring staff, from Bridget the friendly receptionist who greeted me to Broke the chair side assistant who took care of my needs. Dr Silverstein has the best bedside manner and is a highly skilled professional. I highly recommend this office for all your periodontal needs. I give them a 10 star rating.
